This certification course, licensed by Multi-Health Systems Inc., will include detailed information and instruction on the administration, scoring, interpretation, development, norming, reliability and validity of the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360. It will provide you with the information you will need to make educated and informed decisions regarding your employees or clients and to form the basis of a sound emotional intelligence skills development program.
Topics will include:
- The history of emotional intelligence/review of various theoretical perspectives on emotional intelligence
- The development of the EQ-i 2.0 and the EQ 360
- How to administer the EQ-i 2.0 and the EQ 360 and to interpret results
- How to give constructive feedback on both the EQ-i 2.0 and the EQ 360
- Ethical use of the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360
- Practice giving feedback and interpreting results

About the Trainer
Rupert A. Hayles, Jr., Ph.D., is President of Organization and People Dynamics, Inc., a boutique advisory firm specializing in emotional intelligence, leadership development, organizational transformation, and higher education renewal. Emotional intelligence practices are executed under the auspices of the Center for Emotional Development and the Center for Emotional and Spiritual Development. He previously served as President of Roberts Wesleyan University and Northeastern Seminary, President of Pillar College, Chief Operating Officer of Christ Church, and Executive Pastor of The Life Christian Church. He is a founding member of the board of Movement and the Leadership Fellows Program. Before entering higher education and nonprofit leadership, he held senior leadership roles with Cytec Industries, Prudential Financial, and Merck Inc., and served as an officer in the United States Air Force. Dr. Hayles earned a Ph.D. from Regent University, an MBA from The Wharton School, and a B.S. from Seton Hall University. He is the author of Practical Strategy: Aligning Business with IT and EI and the Church. His upcoming book, The Unlovable Leader, is due in fall 2027. He and his wife, Maryann, have twins, Stephen and Savannah.
