The average CEO tenure for the S&P 500 is 7.2 years, which has significantly decreased since 2017, and 39% of those CEOs have tenures that only last between 1 and 5 years. Choosing the right CEO replacement is costly and time-consuming, and the outcomes can be catastrophic when the replacement doesn’t work out.
During this webinar, we’ll explore how using one or more psychometric assessment tools can provide invaluable information not obtained during interviews, reference checks, or other standard recruiting tools. Further, we’ll discuss approaches to using psychometric assessments, not just for CEO selection but also for leadership teams. This includes understanding the organization’s needs, choosing the most effective tools, and interpreting and integrating data to offer valuable insights that improve the recruitment processes.
At the end of this webinar, you will be able to…
- Analyze trends in CEO tenure by identifying the factors contributing to the decrease in average CEO tenure.
- Discuss the implications of shorter CEO tenures on company stability and performance.
- Explain the importance of future-oriented CEO selection.
- Explore the cultural impact of CEO selection.
