Manolo Romero Escobar is a Psychometrician in the Talent Division of MHS Assessments. He has a B.A. and Licentiate degree in Psychology from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala, in Guatemala City where he is originally from, and a M.A. in Psychology from York University, in Toronto. Assessment, evaluation, and measurement have been constant themes during Manolo’s academic and professional careers. In Guatemala he worked as a school psychologist before moving to Canada to pursue graduate studies. Manolo has also delivered training in statistical methods at different levels of expertise both in person and through webinars. As a psychometrician, he is in charge of proposing and implementing methods to evaluate the structure, reliability and validity of psychological tests under development and writing the sections of technical manuals related to psychometrics. Manolo is passionate about the implementation of technology as an educational, learning, and training tool. Being a psychometrician is more than a job title for him. He is passionate about delivering solutions within teams where data analytics and statistical insights provide the content to build narratives about human behaviour and development.
