The normative sample for the FAB–C consisted of 1,988 children. Separate norms are available for boys and girls in 2-year age intervals. Raw scores are easily converted to T-scores with the QuikScore™ Form.

About the Author

Joseph H. Beitchman, M.D.
Dr. Beitchman is a professor of Psychiatry and Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He obtained his M.D.C.M. degree from McGill University and a Masters of Public Health from the University of Michigan. He trained in psychiatry at Tuffs New England Medical Centre and The University of Michigan.

Dr. Beitchman has published widely on topics concerning diagnosis, assessment, and long term outcome. He is the author of numerous journal articles and the editor of three books. His interests in epidemiological methods include the assessment of children's internal states and the relation of childhood psychopathology to language and cognitive functioning. As the head of the Child and Family Studies Centre at the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in Toronto, Ontario he combines his research and teaching interests with active clinical care.
