The CAYC helps to identify children with developmental delays. Based on the same theoretical model that the DASI (Developmental Activities Screening Inventory) and DASI-II were designed around, the CAYC consists of 107 structured, play-based items in six-age related levels.

Features and Benefits

  • Identifies developmental delay in order to facilitate early intervention
  • Helps to determine child strengths and weaknesses which contribute valuable information to the total diagnostic effort
  • Assists with documenting progress so that a base from which to monitor change and evaluation exists
  • Research data can be collected from reliable and valid results
